New camera!

I just ordered my first DSLR! It was hard to part with over £300 so soon after getting it, but it'll be worth it. :D

I bought a Nikon D40 with a Nikkor 18-55mm zoom from [link] for £246, found an 8GB SD card for £8 (may buy another if I find I fill it up too quickly, though I'm hoping not! :P) and a 1 Terrabyte external hard drive to store all my lovely pictures on, since my measly 120GB hard drive in my Macbook is almost full and has been for quite some time. :(

Came to just under £346 all together which I think was quite good.

Now to start saving to buy more lenses!
